Situated just 5 miles south of Oxford in the Thames-side village of Clifton Hampden, The Plough is a grade 2 listed building dating back to the 17th Century. Recent extensions and refurbishment have retained the character and style of the old building with thatched roof, low beams and open wood fires in the winter months.The whole property is non-smoking (bar, restaurant and bedrooms).Food is served in both the restaurant and bar throughout the week from an oriental style menu including cuisine from Beijing, Sichuan and Cantonese.

Directions
From M40 (northbound) exit Junction 7 and follow A329 towards Stadhampton and Wallingford. Pass through Stadhampton remaining on the A329. At the Shillingford roundabout turn right onto the A4074 towards Oxford. (Beware 30mph speed limit). Follow the A4074 to the next roundabout at Berinsfield and turn left onto the A415 towards Abingdon. Pass through Burcot and follow road for 1 mile. The Plough is located on the right at the traffic lights.From A34 (M40 Junction 9 and M4 Junction 13) come off the A34 at the main Abingdon exit. Follow signs to centre of Abingdon on A415. Get into one-way system and follow signs for A415 towards Dorchester-on-Thames and Henley. After leaving Abingdon, pass through Culham and at second set of traffic lights The Plough is on left hand side.
